The Maya Train covers 1,500 km in Southeast Mexico and is divided into seven sections:

  • Section 1: Palenque to Escárcega
  • Section 2: Escárcega to Calkiní
  • Section 3: Calkiní to Izamal
  • Section 4: Izamal to Cancun
  • Section 5 North: Cancun to Playa del Carmen
  • Section 5 South: Playa del Carmen to Tulum
  • Section 6: Tulum to Bacalar
  • Section 7: Bacalar to Escárcega
